And lastly, I did finally permanently fix my front DS. I got a front shaft from eBay. Was in great shape. I rebuilt it with what I already had. Feels good to be able to shift into 4hi whenever again and drive 70mph on the turnpike to overtake someone when needed.

So tonight I got fed up finally with the horrible rattling drone from my beyond repairable muffler. Plus my wife finally complained too lol. Seriously I can't believe how good it is too be able to hear my engine and my FA clutch again. I got a walker direct fit OEM SS muffler. Was a slight pain to replace since everything was obviously rusted up. Little bit of grinding action and got it all together. Test drive was great. Oh and FYI, I tested the decibel level of the muffler drone with windows closed, topped off at 87

Hey, me too!!!!

Went with the Thrush Turbo muffler though... and welded it in. I didn't have any flanges at the ready to weld in place and the clamp I had on it originally didn't have enough to grab onto to keep it secure. Traded a "Sting" sword replica for it lol

Looks nice. I ultimately want to weld it all and ditch the clamps. For starters there are too many of them and second, feel like they'll get snagged on SOMETHING off road. Even if its just brush

If you look closely, there's a clamp at the back of the muffler. Rather than leaving the nuts for the clamp pointing down, I turned the clamp sideways to keep it from getting snagged on anything.

I do need to rotate mines. I did it in the dark rushing since the next day I had my sis in laws wedding upstate NY. It was a clutch fix lol. Wasn't sure if my vice grip would hold on the thruway

Completely understand clutch fix. You don't wanna know what I've done in a clutch, lol!
