In between the battery, relay box and the inner fender. There was actually a hole there already so we were able to screw from the fender side into the bracket that held it. Screw point into the engine bay side.

For the vacuum canister or the horns? The canister is easy as I've looked up it can go pretty much anywhere there's good space but those horns I haven't looked into yet and I wanna cut my fender liner tomorrow so I can get a jumpstart on my bumper

Thanks I just saw that . Yea I'm not too worried now about the canister but the horns is what's on my mind now and if they are allowed to get wet after I trim my fender lining?

People drive in water all the time. I feel like we would have heard something about this by now if water was some huge issue to them.

You'll do fine. Just mount them as high as you can. It's only one wire per horn so you could easily extend them with a connector then shrink wrap your connection. That almost waterproof.

Tonight I took my old bumper off and brackets to dry fit my new bumper to drill the holes and do any cutting. So as of now I gotta cut 1.5" off then refit to mark the holes to drill and then I'll paint it so I'm hoping it'll be ready for this weekend to go on. And in this whole process I only broke 1 bolt.

I found a good spot on the firewall to mount the vacuum ball but those damn horns are a pain due to the necessary grounding. Oh well I guess for now I'll turn them, dielectric and silicone them so I can trim my fender lining

Preparation and sanding took about an hour all together. Once that was done I was able to start painting
