Project Raptor Replacement
 

I recently traded my Raptor ATV for this 90 XJ 2 door, 6 cylinder, automatic wit 115,000. It has 4x4, heat & air, all of witch the ATV did not have. It had a 4 1/2 lift, Rubicon shocks, Rhino Liner from the windows down & 31x10.5x15 tires. The carpet had been removed & it had a crummy homemade snorkel.

Got the Rough Country front bumper, bull bar, D ring kit & winch installed last weekend. Also got a set of 32x11.5x15 Buckshot Mudders mounted up on the stock wheels. Many issues have been repaired including the front axle, many vaccume leaks, fuel leak, full service & all fluids changed.

This weekends work will include new sway bar link quick disconnects. Take a look at the below photo, mine are horrible. Also, I will be replacing the Rubicon shocks with new ones that are appropriate for the lift & the steering dampner. The final item will be the installation of an adjustable track bar. I also have a transfer case drop kit but am considering the hack & tap kit instead.

Got the above mentioned work done today. Replace all 4 shocks, steering damper, track bar & track bar bracket, dropped pitman arm & sway bar links. Every thing went well & drives much better.
