Talking Project Rachet

Well picked this guy up a couple days ago. It's a 99 4.0L with 108K on it. Has a 4.5 inch Rock Krawler lift kit, Olympic front bumper and thats pretty much it, for right now. Has some rust issues (living in Illinois sometimes sucks)that I am going to fix. Also has a few dents and dont like the ripped off fender look. Here are a few pictures.

My plans for it are...

New cd player-old one works but want to do some audio work.
Rugged Ridge air intake
Iron Rock Offroad air intake
Bushwacker flat fenders
Iron Rock Offroad 2.5 inch cat back exhaust
New Quadratec floor mats
New speakers.
Gen-right hood louvers.
New shocks at all four corners

This will probably be a daily driver. It might see some mild offroading but I already a built ZJ for my all time trail rig.

More pictures and updates to follow.

Oh, how do I get some CherokeeForum stickers? I had them on my previous XJ and need to get some more

Found it thanks. I'll find a couple pictures of the ZJ. That also is going under the knife and getting a little rebuild.

That thing has a great stance, though! Miles are great.

@MTLXJ, didnt pay anything for it. Traded the guy my 98 ZJ for it. And yes, the previous owner didnt take the greatest care of the thing. It was his wheeler. Which eventually will probably come mine as well but I am doing a little catch up and adding a few things as well.

@Joe, will do. I am actually planning on ordering a cd player from you guys with the install kit and some front floor mats as well.

@500dollarJeep, it has a decent stance but the shocks in the rear are shot and I think I am going to do new leaf packs in the rear as well.

Did do a little ordering today.

Ordered up a new tie rod and tie rod ends from Iron Rock. Along with their 2.5 inch cat back exhaust. The stock exhaust isnt going to cut it one bit. Pictures of everything to come soon.

Thanks. There are a lot of things I'd like to do with it but it all depends on the cash flow and with the holidays coming, the kids come first. But more updates to come, trust me.

Installed the rear Bushwacker flatfenders today. Pretty simple stuff. Tomorrow going to finish the front up and I'll post some pictures. Love the look of them already.
