Project Pit Viper
This build has been long overdue.
History- This was my first car I ever owed. I got it in 2004 as a Christmas present from my father after my family suffered a home invasion and all the money I had saved for a car fund was stolen. It had 183k miles on the odometer when I received it but the engine was freshly rebuilt. I absolutely loved my Cherokee! I drove it for a number of years but eventually I handed it down to my younger sister when I started going to school. My sister drove it for 2 more years before she got sick of driving a "hoopty" around town so she went out and bought a new car. The Jeep sat in my driveway untouched for nearly 3 years before I decided that I could no longer let my beloved jeep waste away in my yard. Time to bring her back to life Here is a picture of it in my driveway the day i started working on her

The first thing i did was open the hood. The latch was broken and i had to remove the entire grill assembly just to get the thing popped. I got a certified used battery for $26 at a local junkyard along with a waterpump pulley and a plastic coolant junction part that had snapped when i removed the line. I picked up some new oil, oil filter, a prestone flush kit, a syphon, and a can of seafoam on my way home. Drained all the fluids, flushed the radiator and filled it with water for the time being and installed the parts from the junkyard. Just 3 turns of the key and she came roaring back to life!
