Well this is after I took it home and did 5 hours of cleaning. The xj was listed on CL for $1600, I called him and went and checked this thing out, I really didnt want this cherokee but what the wife wants right, so met the guy and the jeep was pretty busted,
My walk around inspection found it needed New Windshield, Wipers, Tires, Tie rod bar The one on it looked like a taco. looking under the jeep it also had a rear main seal leak, power steering leak and the windows were not tinted, the AC needed recharged, now for the test drive, sat in the jeep and the driver seat was broken and it was like sitting in a rocking chair sideways, blinker switch was bad, driverside window motor didnt work, and the jeep pulled real hard to the left and ran alittle rough. This being said I offerd the guy $600 because of all the work it needed. long story short I pulled $800 out of my pocket and I guess he couldent turn down cash on the spot. then I was the new owner of Cherokee XJ laredo 4x4 5 speed.

So when I got it home took it into the desert and found out that this little POS cherokee does really well when it is in the dirt, and then I was hooked before heading home a had to snap this pic.https://www.cherokeeforum.com/member...-need-name.jpg

Got it home, got online found a rough country 4.5 lift, took the rims and got new 31 10.5 15's windows got tinted new windshield, welded up the bracket for the driver seat painted all the chrome, removed all pin stripe, added some makeshift cup holders for now, By the way why wouldent they have cup holders stock from the factory? Lift came in installed mounted tires took for test drive and DEAT WOBBLE, Thank you Rough Country the whole idea of just drilling a new hole for the track bar is just retarted, so ordered new adjustable track bar and seems to doing fine, here is what it looks like as of now.
