Thought Id throw my Jeep on here. I have a 95 XJ sport i bought in May 2010 for $600. Had 235xxx on it, now has 245xxx. Im not a money making machine like some others so i only do mods from change in my pocket and when i have a urge to spend all my little money.

so far:
3" BB(for now)
33"/31" Tires
Outlaw 2 wheels
V8 ZJ tie rod
CB radio
97+ console
random little stuff Ive fixed(body)

next step:
5" full on lift
chop top(if i can grow the balls)
bumpers
skids
armor
whatevers fun

i need to figure out tow points for the front. when i got in my accident it crinkled the front of the frame(not far back enough to mess anything up) but its a crunched up mess. any suggestions on how to go about mounting some brackets to it?

nice looking xj. I recognize that yellow one from NAXJA. some of us work to feed our jeep addictions. The upcoming plans sound good. Why/what type of chop top are you thinking? Plans for a cage at that point?

thanks man. i work too just dont make enough right now to pay for all my needs/jeep needs. im wanting to chop the back off to make a cheromanche. im currently learning how to weld so that project will happen once i get comfortable enough to tackle it and make a cage.

Id try to find a used Trailer hitch and go to HF and but a D ring hitch. They are like 15 bucks.

i put some tow hooks on the front today. they look good and tomorrow ill test them.

i picked up a roof rack and a 87 rust bucket comanche since i last posted. hoping to make the mj my daily driver and lift this one more. the mj needs floorboards, doors, and the gas tank relocated...all of which i hope to get done this winter because i think the xj is going to take a real beating from all the iowa salt with the snow.

do you know what size tires that yellow xj is on?

the yellow xj is on 35s. its has like a 7 inch long arm last time i checked. that minivan got DESTROYED! it was like a 09 too. took me 20 dollars to get mine fixed up with parts from friends.
