My only issue with a lift is my budget I'm hardly working at all ice worked 2 days in a month. Made 225 bucks but still. Good thing is that I will have no bills once I get my xj off my dad besides insurance and gas. So anything extra will go towards the jeep. And hopefully by next summer it'll be where I want it

Thanks for the advice, but I like the look of 31's on 4.5 inch.
Plus Destinations are the second best AT tire on tire rack.com, with over 11 million miles reported, and a lot of people on here run them and love them.
Not trying to be a dick, just stating why I'm going this route.

New tires
I need new tires soon and I'm gonna get 31s. I was gonna get Firestone Destination A/T's for 640, mounted/balanced and all that good stuff. Now I found these, 4 Firestone Destination M/T's with 15,000 miles on them and 60% tread left, for 450. I'd prolly offer him 350 for them. Is that good deal? HOw long will they last? I don't want to buy these, then have to turn around and buy new tires a couple months later. Thanks

Nice XJ. Wish I had gotten one instead.
For some reason I'd still go with General Grabber AT2s, same stuff as the BFG ATs but cheaper in the wallet.

Yea! The only thing I'm afraid of is getting the bolt that holds the shackle to the frame out. I'll prolly be torching the crap out of it
