Ok well I got the jeep back from the garage today with the tcase drop installed. It doesn't vibrate anymore (thank god). So next on the agenda is tires, 31 inch firestone destination a/t's to be exact.

Well I was driving to work and when I got there I was admiring my jeep and noticed that the tailpipe fell off the rear most hanger right by the bumper!!! And I checked the muffler and it looks like (but I'm not sure, it was a quick glance) the muffler is slipping off the cat! So now when I get off work (around 10) I get to fix that all up... in the middle of a hurricane.

Idk how it just slipped off. Maybe the garage thy put my tcase drop in separated the muffler and cat, and then didn't tighten it up right.

Ok well the muffler wasn't coming off the cat, it just fell off the rear hanger. So I slipped it back on and tightened it up

You might wanna get the pinion angle right.

Here are some good write-up's.

So if I read that first link correctly, if adjust the rear axel so that it points up more, that will help my tcase pinion angle?

Wait wait wait, so it's ok if my tcase output angle is a little off, as long as the rear axel pinion angle matches?

You most likely don't need to change anything. Check out stu's site. The degree of shim you need is minimal. And it looks like the zone lift doesn't lift the rear a full 4.5 inches just the front. That said with the amount you did get out of the rear. I don't think you need to worry about shimming the axle.

Ok but I do still have some vibrations, which are progressively getting worse (which seems strange). So I'm prolly just gonna go with the IRO HNT SYE kit

Good Idea. The tcase drop is really just a bandaid

I just wanna double check. The HNT style SYE will for sure get rid of vibes correct?
