Wow, that is really similar to mine! What are your plans for the build? I see you got the 33s, and you were talking about a 3.5" lift too, right?

I know! We have great taste in how the xj should look! Yes I have 33x12.50.r15 kumho road venture tires (Nice and Meaty) I love the look of the tires. 3.5 super flex kit by Rubicon Express, BW flat fender flares and pro comp wheels with 3.65 back spacing.

My lift, fenders and rims will be here tomorrow.

I was thinking of painting my wheels bronze I really like the looks of black on bronze there is just something about it. Right now my wheels are flat black.

I got my lift on. Everything went really smooth. It took me about 15 hours, this was my first time installing a lift. I still have a couple things I need to install my adjustable track bar, transfer case drop and my rear shocks. My lift seems bigger than 3.5 inch's. I feel like I could put 35's if I wanted. I'm extremely happy.

Those wheels look awesome! I prefer that style over the D-windows, but I got mine so cheap on craigslist that I can't complain. That's quick work putting the lift on for the first time. Well done. Good luck with the rear shocks. Hopefully those upper bolts come out without breaking.

The rear shocks came out and back in with out any problems. I put the new bilstien 5100's that came with my lift kit. The rims are awesome they are pretty affordable as well. Hey I can't blame you for getting a good deal on your wheels and your wheels look awesome to same basic design.

That looks sweet. Are those directional tires?

They are directional tires. After I took the picture I realized I mounted them wrong. I actually have a set of 5 tires so I'm still trying to figure out how to do my tire rotations. So I get the best wear.

At least it's an easy fix. Just leave the rear tires where they are and turn the Jeep around

Haha.. Yeah come get the Jeep their is no drive shaft or track bar in it.

I still have not been able to really drive it yet. I'm waiting on rear shims and changing my u-joints on my rear drive shaft. I was getting some really bad binding when first starting out.

Actually the BW Flare install is pretty straight forward. Honestly I think its dummy proof as long as you can use a angle grinder. The flare mounting brackets use some of the factory holes. Once you attach them to the jeep you trace the flare then cut. I had never used a angler grinder or ever done any type of body work before this.

I'm very happy with the outcome of the jeep.

I love the BW flares, just don't care for the price of them.

Who am I kidding? I have SO much to do on my Jeep before I even think about cosmetics

It's been a while. Just got my SYE installed hoping to fix some vibes along with a new driveshaft. A lot of my vibes went away but I'm still getting some. My jeep flex's really good. I need to get bigger bump stops as my can easy stuff my tire.
