Project just getting started

ok, I just purchased a 2000 xj on monday (june 21, 2010). It is my daily driver and I do not do any offroading. Besides being a daily driver I only go off road occasionally camping in woods or beach driving on vacations. My plans so far are.....

- Black rims (i prefer the look of black rims)
- Roof rack (for fishing/camping gear, maybe shovel & towstrap in winter)
- Fog lights (none currently installed)

MAYBE: CB and Roof lights

Any opinions and recomendations are appreciated.

What did you have in mind for the lights and roof rack? Are you going to paint your OEM wheels or are you going for aftermarket?

Maybe get the type of roof rack you can put your spare tire on that way you gain a bunch of cargo space.

Dunno if you have a tow package on it? Maybe a tow hitch luggage rack?

For off road lights go with some $30 ones off ebay and you can do the same with the roof rack i think i got mine for like $80 or $90 it doesn't need to be that beefy since you don't do hard off roading. As for rims are you looking for steel or alloy?:gunsmilie:
