bleh i went and test drove it and that thing needed wayy to much, it shifted horrible and sounded worse. made me fall in love with my auto again haha. it smelled bad and had LOADS of rust in the rockers. im staying with my build. im ordering a 4.5 RC lift here soon. and my dad seams to think 31's are too big for stock rims.. what are you guyses takes on rim and tire size?

depends on the tire an rim. while IMO its perfectly fine to run a 40x15.50 tire on a 15x10 rim its probably not the brightest idead to run a 33x15.50 on a 15x10 rim. I think its ok to run a 31x10.50 tire on a 15x7 rim.

im running the rc 3'' lift with 15x8 ccrager steel v5 rims and 31x11.50r15 super swamper ltbs ull be fing if u order the 8 in for a 10 or 10.50 in wide tire they are fine on the 11.50 but just makes em taller and not as wide.. i got them for 46 a rim, 115 a tire and 255 for the 3 '' rc lift (the coils are really stiff in the rough country lifts)...

The higher you go the more extra parts you will need, with that in mind I recommend the 3". But from the money-is-no-object view I would go 4.5"

honestly i couldnt tell u my dads been driving it seens how i just turned 16 the 10th of jan. i know that with the tries and every thing it deff dropped it from the 30 miles that the old lady that i bought it from was getting.. it was originaly from arizona she drove it here to vermont and well 2 summers ago i bought it for 2000 talked her down from 2600, was originally looking for the 4.0l cause i had a felling that this with the 2.5l in it was going to be a lil sluggish so if u guys have any 4.0l throttle bodys just laying around that are in good shape with all of the hardware and anything tht i could get say for free plz let me know...my plan is to finish my air intake then my next project is to swap the 4.0l on with a helix space and bore out my intake and spacer to match the throttle body base... oh keep in mind tht i have owned my xj since i was 14 and i owe all of the fab work to my dad, he and i built my bumper and rack in a weekend so u will prob. never see one like it anywheres else they are all SWC Customs (SWC my dads company S. Warrington Construction)..
