You have a very close setup as I do now. It's great. The front locker should be invisible in 2wd? Is it not disengaging?
I think it might not be. It pops on super sticky pavement - or at least that's what I think it is. I need to recheck all the torque specs on rhe control arms and track bar to make sure it's not a bolt binding. I'll pull the diff cover and investigate some more too.

Yeah sure man - I'll snap some today.

I know right!?! I remember when it was all stock on 235s back in Miami haha!
Got her out on the new set up. Took her to Windrock with my buddy Jim and his 89 FJ Land Cruiser on 33s. What was once a challenging trail turned into a basic walk in the park with more emphasis placed on your line than anything else. Basically a rock garden trail.
Camera was AWOL so had to use camera phones:
Initial impressions - this thing is way more capable now than I imagined. Being locked/locked with the extra ground clearance and front articulation meant I was hitting obstacles on purpose that wouldn't have hit before. Looking forward to trying some more challenging trails now.
Issues - there's a pop and groan in front at very low speed turns. At first I thought it was the locker but it happens in 2wd too. I'm thinking I'm going to have to retorque every bolt and might need axle u-joints sooner than expected. At the moment, it's just noise though.
Also, the front pinion seal is leaking. It's always something.

Your rig looks great. I just traded some tools for 5 of those grizzly wheels. I just got them cleaned up and i can't wait to put the on some fresh rubber and sling some mud with them. Keep up the great work.
Bit of an update. I moved to Rochester NY. Place is pretty cool. Hopefully I can get out and wheel in new places.
Did try one park called Whispering Pines. It's a farm that the owners carved out trails and obstacles. Pretty fun. Lots of big ***** with off camber stuff to mess up open/open rigs.
I'm still having a groan, pop issue on tight left turns. I replaced the track bar bushings and bolt sleeves and it's still there. Next is axle u joints and ball joints. I'll save up for Synergy ball joints.
The axle seals are leaking still too.
Oh, I ditched the Civic too and bought another Subaru. This is number four for me. 05 flat six Outback.
Rausch Creek is a major possibility. It's four hours away from me, which isn't terrible. I'll have to improve the cooling system and have more spare parts, but it will make it.

The TB is a stock one bored to 62mm by a member here. The injectors are 4 hole Bosch 784 "Neon" injectors also bought from a dude on here.
Truck has been running pretty well. Had a few things done to it. Met a guy who builds and races Utra4 trucks, so he's far more skilled than I am. Had him replace my unit bearings (Timken's), axle shaft u joints (Spicer), inner axle seals and pinion seal. He also took some slack out of the front pinion so the locker would behave better on the street.
I finally rewired my cooling fan. The factory connector is crap so I have a zip tie holding pressure on it so it will maintain voltage and stay on. Really weird problem. Works though. Truck stays a 190-195 degrees.
Met some other dudes and stretched it out. My rear is very limiting and as much as I don't want to due to aesthetics, I'm going to cut the fenders.
Have you parked next to another 33" tire? My buddy has the same tires and they look more like 32s when next to my 33x10.50 KM2s. It's odd, wasn't sure if it's just how they made the A/T vs M/T. Any rubbing?
