Well, I just got some cash to start the build on my XJ. I picked it up back in October for $1800 with a sizeable dent on the rear quarter panel. I managed to get a sweet deal on having it replaced. And with a bit of extra cash left over, I decided to get to work building it.

It currently has nearly 240,000 on the clock, and still runs perfectly.

The parts I've gotten ordered so far are:
RC 3" lift
OR Fab front bumper
Warn rocker guards

I am working with a small budget, so a lot of this stuff will probably be junkyard parts and will go pretty slowly.

Yeah, I waited a while to keep posting. I've been heavily preoccupied with school work, especially with finals coming up, and trying to get the rotary turd(1986 RX-7) running. I haven't had much time to get the old XJ's new parts on. I did manage to get the new OR Fab front bumper on, and I must say it looks pretty good. Also, I got some mtx audio subs and an amp for teh wubz! Hopefully in the next week or so I can get my lift on, because my bushings have gone to crap and ruined my ride. I also got a shot from after a little mud dip.

Just picked up this Yakima roof rack for a good deal, it came with light mounts, a spare tire mount, and a shovel bracket. I'll hopefully get those installed soon.

Well I couldn't finish the lift yet. I'm need a spring compressor, and I'm wiped out from yard work and the lift.

I do have one question though. Who the hell designed this!? Cuz I wanna punch em' in the throat.

Well, I finally got the lift done, and I decided I had to do a little front yard poser wheeling, and then this happened.

Yup, loose dirt and 2wd ftw. I managed to free myself, but it dug a hole about 2 1/2 feet deep.
