$900 is a good price but don't think that is a big and fast compressor it takes a while to fill up a 35, Im not dogging it, Im just saying

MichaelMaxim 02-26-2009 02:36 PM

It has a high airflow rating of 12 cfm at 0 psi, and 5 cfm at 90 psi. My home compressor which is a standup Craftsman only have 4.6 cfm at 90 psi...

MichaelMaxim 02-26-2009 02:39 PM

They say it will run for 30 min continuous before you have to let it cool down.

Warn rates the compressor at 5 cfm @ 90 psi, which translates to airing up four 35" tires from 8 psi to 35 psi in 8 minutes.

I know I have used one, think about 8 mins for 4 tires > over 30 minutes just airing up to leave

redkling 02-26-2009 02:45 PM

for that price though I probably would have bought it too

MichaelMaxim 02-26-2009 03:09 PM

No the site says all four tires in less than 8 minutes total... not 8 min x 4 tires...

What was your experience like with it? How long did it take to air up all four tires?

I'm not really worried about airing up because I'll probably leave mine at 10 or 11 psi since I'm trailering it anyways.

this thing just keep's getting cooler. and yeah the pic of the longer bumper mounts is a lot better then the first

redkling 02-26-2009 03:26 PM

We aired up 37s in 15 mins, from 8 to 35 psi ithink it was, running air tools it was ok, thas why I said at that price i would have bought it.

Well progress on the XJ has come to a halt.

I spent the day in the Emergency Room on Saturday night for shortness of breath and chest pains. At 32, I didn't think I'd be suffering a heart attack or anything since I don't smoke and I'm pretty healthy. So I went to the hospital just in case. Well they did a EKG and a few other tests. They thought it was a severe case of Influenza (the flu) but the tests came back negative. So it was decided that I just had a severe upper resipratory chest/lung infection. I am just miserable at the moment... oh well. I had 4 days to really get some stuff down but I could barely get out of bed...

Hopefully I can shake this cold or whatever it is and get cracking on the Jeep again. I can't ever sit still and always have to be working on something... this is driving me nuts.

Well guys, I'm back in action! I'm feeling 100% better now and man.... I thought I was at the end of the road there for a few days. I felt like I was about to buy the farm.

We should be finishing up the front axle truss, welding it in place, putting my new 5/8th heim jointed, 1.25" DOM steering together too.

The we have the axle limiting straps to add to the front, run the locker cable into the cab from the front axle, seal up the holes in the floors for both locker cables, bleed the brakes and that should be it for now... then I can atleast go wheeling at the end of the month with the crew!
