I thought about that, and actually jumped up n down on it without my shoes on. Nothing. There's a ton of foam there, and all the hardware is well below flush of the latch release bar.

Looks like a really nice start. I must say though, that is definantly higher than 1.5" with those 33s unless they are very bald. Looking more like 3 front and up to 4-4.5 rear to be honest. Too bad the flares are gone so you can't do a quick measurement. I love my np242, just locked the rear but only complaint is locking the front is an expensive option.
