My window has been taped up all week cause the regular kicked it on me last week.
Upon disassembling I discovered the worm cable had just "unthreaded" itself from the regular. This happened because the plastic tube that the worm cable rides in broke off from the regulator.
I pulled the worm cable into the regulator using the power window, and put it all back together. Now when I put the window down the motor turns but the window doesn't go with it, which is how it was acting before. We'll see how long it lasts.
I also used some fiberglass body filler on the visor to fill in some cracks. This gets to be a little mini project for me while I'm at school. Not being able to work on stuff drives me insane.

Painted the visor yesterday, should have it on tomorrow. I have to go home for something so I'll be able to use my drill while I'm there.
Also my airbag light came on the other day while wheelin. After further investigation I'm suspecting my clock spring because my horn also isn't working. It will be good to replace that because my turn signals don't cancel and my cruise control hasn't ever worked.
Also heat only comes out of the defrost vents so I think I have a vacuum leak somewhere.

Got my visor on! Love the look. It definitely brings out the squareness of these bodies. Only downside of it so far is the way the wind comes through it the draft blows right into/on the sunroof. At highway speeds it makes the sunroof rattle a bit which is slightly annoying.
I used these screw caps for a nice clean install, along with plenty of rtv over the holes.

Yesterday I put in a new air filter and new wipers. I also checked the fuses to rule that out for my airbag light but did not find any blown fuses. Still points towards clock-spring.
Also I was tracing my vacuum lines looking for a leak because my heat only comes out of the defrost vents. Come to find out my vacuum canister is gone! No idea what happened haha.

I'm home from school for 5 weeks so I finally have time to give the jeep some attention.
Today I replaced my faulty clock spring. Unfortunately they sent me the wrong part or I ordered the wrong part and ended up with the non-cruise control version. It was already apart by the time I noticed so I said screw it, I don't use it anyway.
I rented a steering wheel puller from advanced and it worked well. When the tension finally popped the wheel off it made a loud bang and I thought I broke something but it was just the wheel coming off.
Went smooth, I didn't set the airbag off so that's good.

And I have a functioning horn and airbag again, woohoo! I also topped off my oil and coolant, as well as greased my front end and gave her a bath.

Passed inspection today, even without fender flares!
The shop did the driver's ball joints, a driveshaft u joint, and rear brakes. I just paid the bill and didn't look back. I can't believe they passed it.
Very excite!
