So i finally did part 2 on the ground refreshing: firewall to the back of the engine. Looks great and hope it helps in the long run.

* Sanded the area, applied oxgard, and mounted both sides on

True true man, you excited for the re-gearing? I've been reading on you the south florida page.

Well finished it up... part 3 done of tip 1!! I just need to save some money so i can upgrade my wiring all together

I also added the fuel ballast on again (just to keep father in-law and wife quiet) as i was checking for the electrical issue and him being an Electrician he gave me his 2 cents.... So bam, plus it was free so whatever

Very excited, gotta pick up a few things before I drop it off...
Also, that ballast resistor is good to quiet down the fuel pump, since it's new it won't cause a problem but always keep an eye on it for cracking or being corroded

Well i am back on it

Besides my post on why my jeep was dead for several months.... because of no fuel pressure; these were replaced

* ECU (1990, UPGRADE )
* Redid wiring in the jeep from driver side kicker panel to driver rear
* New fuel pump and fuel filter
* New rubber fuel lines
* 4 new relays
* Window seals on all 4 doors
* Took out the the intake silencer... im not sure if that is what its called

Time to do a little update... nothing big...

Finally got the computer installed back to its usual spot instead of leaving it on the floor, got the old sway bar links off and installed the disconnects i got from my friend Walt, thanks dude!!! Also got the brake light working, go figure the ground wire was coming off the butt connector plug. Re spliced it and its back on!!!

Old to new

Went to go fire the jeep up and nothing

Before i got more mad, reviewed any problems it could be and behold... The wiring to the CPS looks like its been cooking for a while, replaced it and we are back to normal... I alsoadded some insulation to the wiring, and screwed it a little closer to the firewall so hopefully it does not happen again...

I have no idea man lol...

I can not recall now if i checked that first before i did all the other stuff... but i was sure it was more electrical problem than just the CPS. Especially since i was not getting any power to the fuel pump, then problem with the relay socket, that burned socket in the kicker panel...
