Today was the day I have been waiting for. Finally got the TC drop kit put in and restored the drive line angle to normal. I had two studs and two bolts in my cross member. Studs came out easily with a socket style stud remover.
Installed the Rubicon RE 1600 adjustable track bar. Simple install really, just need a 5/8" drill bit to enlarge the hole on the bracket ( heim joint side). I didn't do much adjusting to center the wheels. Decided to leave that to the alignment guy.
Also, installed a 1" pitman arm drop bracket to help return the proper angles. I have read that these can cause "bump steer" problems when not paired with a track bar drop bracket. Not the case with my Cherokee. It was needed and didn't cause any other issues.
Had it aligned at Ace Steering here in Lawrence. It drives better than ever now. No body roll going around corners, nice and stiff. I am pretty happy with it at this point. I have to do something about the broken shock nut in the rear. And eventually, the rust above the leaf spring mount. Besides that, I'm done messing with the suspension for awhile. I have a few leaks that need attention.

Had the Cherokon (that's what I'm calling it now, lol.)on the highway today, doing about 65mph. No vibrations, felt nice and smooth, and I'm stoked! I've really enjoyed driving her these first couple of days with the new setup. She looks great and drives nice.
Here are some pics of the Cherokon's first snow.

Damn, I miss this Cherokee. Sold it for cash because of a rocky relationship that has since smoothed out. Lost some money on it and had to drive a p-o-s S10 Blazer that I hated for awhile. All is well now and I am back with a new 98 Cherokee Sport Limited! I have to save for a down payment on a house for the next few months but, after that I'm looking forward to throwing a new lift and stuff on her! I will start a new build thread when the time comes, stay tuned folks.
