Pulled my front fenders off last night. Not sure what I'm going to end up doing with that though.
Decided I'm not comfortable taking road trips with these older tires, so I ordered a set of 33x12.50 BFG All Terrains today. Should be here next week.

Made some progress yesterday. When I put my lift on, the upper bolts for the rear shock had all snapped. I finally got around to knocking those out with an air hammer and running new bolts. So I have rear shocks finally.
A buddy of mine is doing all of the fab work on this Jeep, so we started that yesterday. For the front bumper are doing something similar to a bumper made by OR Fab.
We added some angle iron and beefier brackets for support.
Doesn't look like much yet but it's the foundation for bigger things...

This is out of 1 3/4" so far. Plans for this week are to add some 1 1/2" from the corners around the headlights and along the front of the hood. We'll connect that in to the stinger section. Some 1 1/2" will also go on the lower corners where I plan to add some LED rock lights. We're going to run a couple pieces of 1 3/4" down to the angle iron and add a skid plate below, and plate off the top for mounting a winch.
We are going to build a similar rear bumper as soon as the front is done. The plan is to add pieces that will eventually all be tied together in an external cage. The lower corners of this front bumper will continue into tube fenders and then down to the sliders - rear fenders - rear bumper. The top corners of the front bumper will continue along the hood and windshield up to the roof rack and back.
It will be a slow process but should be fun.

Made some progress over the last couple days. I was getting some pretty bad vibrations so I dropped the transfer case. Word of advice...do one side at a time. I removed all of the bolts at once and the crossmember twisted up on me, was a giant pain in the *** to get straightened out. Anyway I got that done, and got my front bumper almost finished.
We are going to add a skid plate underneath it tomorrow. A flat plate will end up on top when I buy a winch but that might be a while. I put a couple coats of primer and then Rustoleum spray on bedliner. I also sprayed my wheels with the bedliner, and the bottom 1/4 of my doors with the rocker panels.
I had ordered some BFG All Terrains from Costco, but they called me today and told me they ordered the wrong size. I cancelled the order and went to discount tire, bought a set of Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs. They rub pretty bad on the fenders, but I'll be cutting those tomorrow. Also adding the extended front bumpstops that came in the mail today. Might need to figure out some extended stops in the rear also. They look pretty badass though.
