Project "Fox" - A slower XJ build
2 Attachment(s)
Just recently got a 2001 XJ with 160k for 600 plus trade. Im going in a different direction than most on this forum. This is my everyday vehicle so Im going for more of a street look. Im in college so available funds will dictate the speed of the build. Anyway this is her the day I got her

Installed my sony head unit from my old vehicle as well as my amp and 10" kicker sub. I have a spare kicker so i might try and rig up a 2 sub unit soon. Looking at using that "cubby" space in the back somehow... im not sure how yet so if anyone has ideas id like to save some space back there

I thought a good starting mod would be to do the ZJ seat replacement so I picked up a good matching grey set down at the jy. 40 bucks for the pair. I did it a little differently than most I left the rails and everything mounted to the floor and just bolted the new seats down on top. I like the look and the ZJ seats are much nicer to sit on. Didnt notice a huge difference in headroom or anything so overall Im happy with the results

Wow, that is one clean cherokee. Nice score! I'm down with a 2wd street jeep. Good luck on the build.

Next on the docket is to replace the damaged front bumper cover. I think im gonna paint it as well as the bumper flares/back bumper/ side molding and below black to break up some of the silver. Probably paint the rims black too... Anyway not sure when ill get to it but thats the plan
