Hey ya'll! Ive had my cherokee since last December and finally decided to join the forum and make a build thread. I bought it from my buddy who went into the Air Force, thats why he was getting rid of it and i thought "why not?". So here I am. It's a 1992 Cherokee Laredo. 189xxx, 4wd, 4.0 HO. Ive done a couple things to it since I've had it. New battery, spark plugs, fuel filter and tires. Have many plans for it this summer once I get home from college in a week. This will all be done on a college kids budget so lets see how this goes. :icon_rolleyes: Regardless, I'm very excited to build her up and make it mine and share my progress with everyone along the way. Ill put some pictures up in order of oldest to newest!

Little update: Been home for almost a month now. Fixed the coolant boiling over problem by simply getting a new radiator cap. Also did a coolant flush while i was at it. Also painted the grill black. Ill have to post a better picture of it later. Seemed to have fixed the battery being drained problem too *knock on wood* . Here's some newer pictures, check out that rear tire getting stuffed!

And the obsession begins...I thought they were joking when they said Just Empty Every Pocket. The good thing is I still seem to find money for things I didn't think I had money for...(just ordered lunch box for 8.25 after the wife shut off my Jeep budget last week ;)

I like to think of it more as an investment. At least that's how i pitch it to my wife. :thumbup1:
