Slow and steady this build goes. thanks to some not so favorable weather here in Oregon work has been here and there. got the chassis harness completely out and the remaining interior gone. to my surprise the floor wasnt too rusted up or rotted out. just have to fix a few minor things. right now I have the engine build going, stripping and making 2 wire harnesses as one and work. I am also working about 60 hrs a week and have a baby on the way. not to mention got slowed down when my crappy welder gave up the ghost.

so after months of being of the back burner project S box has been slowly revived. picked up an 8.25 rear end that I am in the middle of refurbishing, so rustys 6.5 leaf springs that are torn apart and getting painted, new bushings and rebuild to give about 3-4 inches of lift. had to do a deep clean on my garage in order to move around better. will be adding some more pictures (not like anyone is following this)

oh snap!!!!! you are literally just a stones throw from me.. I am right by Tebo's.

in other news, waiting on my anti friction pads for my springs and leaf center pins. having to file a claim with ebay about my U Bolts not being shipped... just been chipping away a little here and there on the pain work until I get parts. picking up a rear disc setup this weekend and will be completing the rear end and getting ready for install

Nice on the rear disk swap. I have one but need to look under the drums to see if my d35 is c-clip or non c-clip. One is bolt on the other I need more parts.

Also I know where tebo's is.

thanks, its not super hard, but you for sure want to plan it out. took me all of ten minutes to actually do the work... was planning for weeks

89limited_hero 05-31-2016 12:21 PM

I know it's not hard, just planning and doing it right. I think I would want to cage at least the back before I cut mine.
