Found a jeep on blocks in an alley the other day, I was able to talk to the owner who had already pulled the motor/trans/t case and he said $40 and I could pull what I wanted. I walked away with a hatch, 3 doors (2 great), all int. door panels, all seats, some plastics, a metal gas tank skid, a tranny x-member, and what I'm assuming is a t case skid just cant figure out where it mounts.

Otherwise.

The skid mounts to the Tranny crossmember with the holes on the left of the picture and the unibody frame rail on the right.

Lol but what is that gonna do to my mileage. I already get poor mileage. And I got a gnarly exhaust leak.

Well, how about this then, I was already thinking of welding my spiders up for a temporary locker beings as i have 2 extra sets of rear shafts and a carrier, I would be covered. So I guess my question is how fast do you think i will go through shafts with 33's and welded spiders? I am kind of a fan of the skinny pedal.

DONT weld the spiders, you can get a spool for really cheap and it does the same thing....except its removable

I can't afford a spool. I was just gonna do this till I rebuilt my LSD. I plan on getting a locker later on.
