And narrow? And.. why is your steering laying on the ground?

Doorless jeep boys 05-27-2010 06:46 PM

its narrow in the front cause i dont have any offset rims for the front yet and its so high so that it can easily clear 35in tires its has 2 in when i got it then i built 3 in drops for the front and still didnt clear the tires so i just got the 6.5 in springs cause they were only a couple of bucks different then the 4in

Doorless jeep boys 05-27-2010 06:51 PM

and the steering is on the ground casue that is one of the pics of it not totaly complete

not trying to bust balls. just trying to warn you but you should just trim the fenders. that thing is gonna be so ridiculously unstable at that height. im at 7.5" trimmed with 35s and they clear perfect. i could also be a lot lower.

how is it off camber? :icon_wink:

Doorless jeep boys 05-27-2010 07:23 PM

i have no idea on the camber its strickly mud only now never to drive on the road again but when i drove it down my street it pulls a little not to bad

Doorless jeep boys 05-27-2010 07:26 PM

the only reason why i went so high is for the water the ground in fl isnt to bad with the hills and stuff but once i get the offsets for the front that will def help

Interesting, deffinatly need to increase width. Looks like it'll roll in a heart beat. Might i sugest a snorkel?

Doorless jeep boys 05-27-2010 07:46 PM

yeah its done now i will post up some newer pics next week its going out to muddigras this weekend and i will get some pics of it going and i am def going to do a snorkle i just ran outta of time i am leaving tommorrow to take up there but there is def more work to do i am going to run rear track bars to help support the rear end when its trying to turn the bigger tires

KTMrider 05-27-2010 09:11 PM

What type of axles you got under there? Hate for you to try to have fun and break one cause it wasn't strong enough for the tires. I take it that it'll be a home brew snorkle to save 400+ buck. Love to see some actions shots to see why it needs to be so high

Just curious how you got 11.5" of lift in the front with 6.5" springs.

No kidding. Unless you have some ACOS in there and they would have to be spun to the bumpstops.
