Default Project Comanchero

Decided to get rid of my 1996 2-door red jeep and get a newer 2000 4-door with a 4.0 Liter 6 Cylinder.

I use the Jeep primarily for Hunting and I needed a small bed for a deer and a beer cooler, maybe a hunting dog. So project Comanchero was born. First we are going to chop it then switch the Rough Country suspension lift and BFG tires over. I have someone working on it for me, I hope it turns out nice. Let me know what you think. Just getting started.

Bondo Time! Body Man is still trying to figure out the best way to cap the tailgate. Should get it sanded and painted up this week.

I am pretty sure that the lift gate is all metal. Its a 2000 model. I think they changed over from fiberglass in 1997. Thanks for the advise tho. Let me know if yall have any other suggestions!

Is it just me or do these kind of chop jobs look like a 90s Volvo when looked at from the side?
