So I have been still wrenching my jeep and I have an idea that i want to do but I'd like to see if any one else has any advice because I'm not great with electrical. So the donor jeep I used had stock fog lamps on the brush guard. I have the headlight harness from the donor (see me holding harness plugs in pic) and the switch from the donor dash (also in pic) I am going to try and wire these up with that stock switch. I would like to use the factory plugs as for easy removal. If anyone has done this I'd love some advice. Thanks ahead of time.

So I've been painting a lot of stuff on the jeep like the wiper arms front and back, the hood cowl vent thing and my stock bumper that I'm attaching the brush guard from the donor to. I stripped and painted the guard too. I think it will look sick once I finish putting it all together. I mounted the stock bumper and strapped the guard to it to see what it looks like.

Got the front bumper mounted and the front end put back together. Love how it looks. Now to take it all apart so I can get the fenders and doors off to fix the door rust :'(

Forgot to add pics, also installed spacers in the hood to bring it up to help cool the engine bay and give it a cowl look

I wonder if these hood spacers are what I have seen before... I honestly thought that they wrecked their vehicles and didn't get it fixed. lol. Do you like it? Good luck with the build.

I like the way it looks but this jeep won't be on the road for another six weeks so I can't say. The only problem I foresee is the heat fogging up the outside of the windshield in traffic or something.

Ok only a few weeks away from here maiden voyage so here's the update. I got a set of 13" import fans for free so I cut them apart ,because the driver side was to long and it hits the steering box, and started to fab one up to replace the mechanical fan. They are very thin and I have plenty of Clarence on the old fan pulley bolts. I also decided that I'm going to do the welding on my jeep. (never welded before) I have a 110v flux wire welder and my uncle told me to bring my doors and my welder by and he'd show me how to do it. I also have to do the passenger floor pan. I also want to fab up heavy duty leaf spring mounts and a 2x6 rock slider set. Also the plug for the front light assembly corroded and I now have no headlights so I'm gonna hit the junkyard for one in good shape that I can splice in. Thank god it will pass in CT with rust, this might take a while lol.

Yeah eventually when I get the money for it, I'm going to get a heavy duty rock bumper. This one was free so that's what goes on it for now. Lots of guys have money to just bolt parts on all day but I'm broke so I can really say: "built not bought"

How are the Rustys Coils? I'm looking for some soft riding coils around 3 inches.
Awesome build on a budget!

Ok so this week I dropped the tranny pan, cleaned it and installed a new filter and gasket. I'm working on installing a tranny cooler because the stock lines are leaking. I also installed a sway bar link bushing kit and a longer rear brake line. The axle breather screw that bolts the junction box is stripped so I'll have to tap that out before I drive it anywhere. I also have to finish up the wiring in the front. I couldn't find a headlight harness plug for a pre 95 so I got the post 95 one. Still an 8 wire plug and it is a nicer plug but the wires are all different colors. I also can't get the new electric fan to spin so I'm thinking it's dead. Working on it tonight. I'll let u know how it goes.

Finished up the headlight harness. Works great! Had a few wires that I noticed weren't being used. I swear the lights are brighter now too. Need a bigger tap set for the rear axle breather though. Hopefully I can afford it tomorrow.
