I really like it. Does anyone know the best way to mount lights on the roof instead of on the front bumber? I'm debating on where to put them eventually.

Mounting lights is easy. You can either make a light bar or bolt it directly to the roof. Remove the headliner and u can drill right through. Just make sure that any hole u make, paint it and seal it after installation to prevent rust and leaking. Also use masking tape to mark your holes and to drill so u don't mess up the paint. And measure then measure and measure again. If your an inch off on one side, it will look crooked.

So I stopped at the shop today to get some work done but my bruised rib wasn't letting me so I got some good pics instead. Also I took a pic of the engine bay because I don't think I posted any of those yet. I stripped and painted it when I rebuilt the engine. Also you'll see the airbox I designed out of a bus stop sign. Pretty proud of that one lol

Tonight I decide to button up a few things. First was the #11 exhaust manifold bolt that was missing. Thought I could just pop it in but the power steering bracket wouldn't let me so that had to be removed. Then the manifold wouldn't line up with the bolt hole so I had to loosen all the others and stand on a cinder block and power lift the manifold while I'll put the stud in. So here's the pic of trying to torque them back down. Real pain in the ***** trying to get a torque wrench in there. Taking a frustration break to post this lol. Next is retightening the torque converter to flywheel bolts. Then off to the rear fender flares.

These are the bumpers that were on the donor. After I get the stock bumper off I'm gonna clean em up and weld new brackets on and mount em

So I actually starting to like more and more the fact that my jeep is off the road. I now have the ability to wrench it little by little and I'm very happy with how things are coming out. So here's the list for last night: disassembled the front bumpers and ground down the brush to be ready for paint, relocated the vacuum bladder to next the the airbox, did some more cutting on the rear wells, removed the wiper arms and hood vent thing and painted those.
