So here I am, 16 with my first Jeep. I have always grown up with and around built Jeeps, and have been in love with them for as long as I remember. I picked up my first Jeep (my first vehicle actually) last summer for $1300. It had a few blemishes on the rockers, and a slight dent in the roof from a tree, but the underside was absolutely immaculate. But here's where it gets good, I'm the second owner of it, the first was an older lady who bought it brandy new from the dealership in 2001. She gave me ALL the original paperwork and everything, along with every receipt for every single bit of work done to it. The motor has just over 140k on it, the rest has about 260ish.

Now I've been saving up for a while for the lift, just ordered it the other night and it should be here by tomorrow. 4.5" Rough Country AAL kit. I know I know, Rough Country sucks, this and that, but I' essentially just using it to build off of. As soon as I can afford to do so, she'll be getting 3.5 inch Rubicon Express full leaf packs, and eventually TeraFlex revolver shackles. Also picked up a set of pretty roached 33x12.5r15 Super Swamper TrXus'. Basically just to roll around on this summer until I can afford LTBs, but the side lugs are still mint.

As a typical high school male, the first modifications I did were an 18" Flowtech Red Hots glasspack, and a Pioneer stereo system with Sony Xplod speakers in the front. The glasspack sounds great actually, gives the 4.0 a real throaty sound. Rumbles pretty good at idle and sounds awesome shifting around 19-2200. It's loud enough so people know you're coming, but not too loud on the inside.

Congrats on the build sir. What have you done in regards to maintaining the Jeep? Have you serviced the coolant system, checked the diff fluids, checked the transfer case fluid, transmission fluid, brake fluid, etc... Not trying to burst any bubbles, just want to make sure your new build is ready for some fun.

Thank you! I have gone through just about everything and checked all fluids but the diff fluids, but it is certainly towards the top of my list!

Got home from school today and within 15 or so minutes the UPS guy was backing up my driveway lol. I was more excited than any kid on Christmas morning. I've come up with a schedule to have it done in about 3 1/2 weeks, but I'm really looking to have it done for the 17th, so I can take my lady out in a nice lifted Jeep for our anniversary (high school relationships, am I right?). Essentially just have to tack up the rockers to get a sticker on it, then the lift and tires are going on as soon as possible.

Nice I have the same lift. It's worked for me for a year and a half but I do plan on upgrading pretty much everything eventually. What size tires are you running? I would do the cut and fold or new flares so you can fit 33s real nice

Currently i running 235/75s. I plan on trimming eventually or Napier flat flairs when my budget allows... My biggest concern is rubbing on the LCAs due to the thickness of the tires on wheels with factory backspacing. I've been told they shouldn't rub too bad but we'll have to see.

Welding up the rockers tomorrow, and gonna start hitting her with PB Blaster to prepare for the lift install. Next weekend the lift will be going in and the tires will be going on. Thinking about some RC 50" curved light bar brackets and a cheap Cree light bar if I can find one...

eBay light bars are impressively good for the cost. I'd buy ebay light brackets as well because they're probably the same quality as RC
