Hey guys, I purchased my first jeep (best decision of my life) about 6 months ago. I waited a little too long to make a build thread so I'll just tell you guys what I've done to it since I've gotten it and go from there! I'm 19 years old and trying to go to school, so it's gonna be a slow build as well. I got a 2001 patriot blue XJ with 163,000 miles. When I got it, it was completely stock, sitting on 30s, later sold those for 100 bucks. This Jeep is my DD so it's gonna be built for driving and mild wheeling. I wheeled it for awhile stock, just basic trails and some mud. First thing I did to it was take of the side trim, and put my lift on it.

Here's how it sat with 30s and a 3" lift right after. Don't really have any other photos with the lift:/

After I got the lift on, it was time to get some bigger and better wheelin' tires. I went with 31" Hercules trail digger mt's and a set of pro comp black wheels.
Attachment 240004 Attachment 240005 With the 4.5" back spacing on the wheels I had to trim the front bumper plastic cause they were rubbing. |

Picked myself up a bumper that was in an accident for $150 and was still in good shape and only needed brackets. Bought it like 3 months ago and just now getting around to it tomorrow to put it on lol.

After going on a trail and ****ing up my fender and bending it in I decided it was time to cute them.. I really didn't want to at first but now I kinda like them.

Little update, getting my front bumper on. Finding out there's a little more front damage in the front than I knew about so were welding a plate to straighten up the frame.
