I've had Geolanders on my rig and on my Subaru. They're fantastic daily drivers and pretty decent on the rocks. They can take a beating. Better than the standard KOs in my opinion.

For those just looking at tire carriers, Curt lists this for front hitch position. I would definitely remove this if planning to go off road, but it's a convenient option for the full size spare. It will require a little modding since it interferes with my rear windscreen wiper.

I like them so far. Beats the snot out of the bald ones that it had. My Wife's Forester has Geolandars too, that's why I decided to go with them over Grabber's which were offered at the same price.

FWIW I've been running a Spartan in my 30 for a couple months now; slight clicking on hard turns in 2wd, hardly noticeable. Only used 4x with it once in some mud, did its job, got me through and out.

So I came home today to find several boxes waiting on my door step. Finally got my driver's side floor pan, new putco harness and Hella headlight. Note that I said headlight and not headlightS. Because apparently I don't read good. So another couple days waiting for my other headlight to ship, in the meantime I dropped in a new Optima Yellow Top which made the guys at Autozone practically crap themselves (apparently people in my area are generally too poor to buy Optimas) and then spent a literal hand numbing 30 minutes installing the battery and new wiper blades. Did I do the thumb-plate thing right? Damn kids and your crazy fads. Get off my lawn, hippie.
Not so much an update as I checked something off the list. License plate relocation amd final mounting of the tire carrier .
