Fixing up the 90 XJ
I got this 90 jeep cherokee limited in a trade for my 95 zx6r ninja. The guy traded straight up and told me that the jeeps PO was a manager of an autoparts store so it should be pretty sound. He also said that he hasnt had any problems out of it. When I first got the jeep I went ahead and put in new plugs, plug wires(8mm taylors) . Also did oil change, new front brake calibers, rotors and pads, also did new all new fluids, air filter, fuel filter, and transmission filter.
Well after not even having the Heep for a year I now have to replace the motor mounts (both mounts are broke in half), exhaust manifold (last 2 runners fell off after unbolting and giving a little tug), injectors( #2 leaking really bad ), u-joints, oil pressure sending unit, valve cover gasket ( cover was on prety much finger tight). Since im doing all of this i decided to go ahead and get the energy suspension hyperflex bushing kit from summitracing, and a steering stabilizer (not for sure which one to get yet TIPS anyone???). The exhaust manifold that i am getting is pacesetter (summitracing part number PSM-70-1191)
My parts should be here either tuesday or wensday. After i get all of them on i plan on getting new long travel shocks, new tires, and body work and paint job.
I have untill feb. 7th to get it done because that is when my second baby is due right now i have a 2 year old he will be 3 december 27th. so im trying to do this stuff cheap but safe. Thats also why i wont be lifting the jeep. I just want to get it ready for winter driving, towing, and pulling ricers out.
well on to the pics
Ill get pics of the parts as they show up and get unboxed

all thats left to do is valve cover gasket, install driveshafts, the rest of the exhaust, and hook every thing up.

no i dont idk what kinda muffler it has on it but its not like a vroom vroom muffler lol.
On another not i did get the jeep started the only problem is that now my egr vavle wont line up so i have to try to find a way to extend it. I dont have a pipe bander to be able to bend my exhaust piping around the crossmember because the pacesetter sits lower so i think im going to use a flex pipe in place of paying to have some one do it. i also have to extend my o2 sensor by about 3 inches
