I enjoyed the videos, I could watch the offroading and overlanding videos all day. The last 10 seconds of your "part 2" video could have easily been a 1990's Cherokee commercial.

Thanks Ramrod! Hopefully I can put together a better/longer video next time. Working on adding sound too. We will see. Got a lot more screwing around to do first.

Latest updates. Adjusted new steering box.

Took it up to my parents new vacation house in lake arrowhead. View from the kitchen is the start of the trail.

And some damage...

And then on to fixing my exhaust leak. Header cracked in 2 spots.

And finally, a fresh cleaning of everything.

I have been having an issue with the rear brakes squealing and one side locking up every now and then. So I figured since I havent done the rear brakes yet, it was time. I had all the stuff to do them already. So drivers side went fine but the passengers side had a surprise for me.

First issue I came across was that the spring and hardware packages I had only had a couple of the right parts per bag. So out of the 4 different packages I had, I was able to come up with enough stuff to do the job. Then I pop the passengers side drum off just to find out the cylinder is leaking. Well that explained the squealing and brake locking up. Bad news is that I didnt have a spare at the house. I also did not have another working vehicle at the house. Awesome! So I slap the wheels back on the Jeep and head down to AZ. Luckily they had 1 wheel cylinder in stock. Got it, came back to the house and finished the job. By that time it was 10pm and 45 degrees out. Not very fun but I got it done. Need to put a few more miles on it and adjust them again.

Nicely done! I get to do oil changes when it's single digits. Usually January and February. I'd enjoy 45 degrees all day.

Ya I know 45 degrees is nothing compared to other places. Its going to get colder but rarely gets below 30 degrees out here. Thats cold in my book haha.

I guess it has been quite a while since an update on this Jeep. Pretty much since I got my other one. No update is a good thing though. I havent had to fix anything on it. So last weekend I took the Jeep on a nice little trip out to King of the Hammers off road race. I was by myself with no cell signal so I didnt do too much wheelin. All in all, Jeep did fine but there were just way too many people there.

It was supposed to snow in the local mountains this weekend, so I decided to go up to my parents mountain house. Instead of the 6-8" of snow that was supposed to happen, there was only about 1" that came down. Kinda sad. But I still took the Jeep out and managed to find some snow to play in. Now time to drive back down the hill in a ridiculous amount of fog.

And then a hour after I get home, my dad sends me this... Go figure.

Feel free to come to the good ole mitten (MI). We have plenty of snow for you to play it. However, I can't promise it'll still be here when you get here. HAHAHA! One day it's 60, and the next we get 6 to 8 inches of snow. Gotta love it, and for some crazy reason, I do!

Haha. I know what you mean! I have a lot of customers out your way who say the same thing. My brother is actually going out there this weekend for some off road show near Detroit. Isnt there supposed to be some crazy storm over the weekend too? I hope he gets stuck over there haha.

Finally another update! Been doing nothing but driving this Jeep and never having to work on it. Can't complain at all. So this trip out was to the local Cleghorn trail. The last time I did the full trail was about 10 years ago in my black XJ. It was just as bad as I remember. Tons of 3 wheel action and lots of pucker moments. The guy with the blue Jeep just got it and this was his first time out. Not a good spot to test out a new Jeep haha. He ripped a flare off due to no bump stops. I got some new damage to one of my bumper caps and got a little bit of under belly scratches. The other white Jeep came down hard on his bumper and dented it. All in all, a very successful day. I will post some videos later. On to pictures!

Thanks Irish. No they are both on RC 4.5", white one on 35s and blue one on 33s. Me, still on my RE 3.5" and 31s. But in reality, mine sits a hair over 4".
