alright guys and girls after being on this site and browsing for hours i finally decided to make my own. now Ive have 2 cherokees prior to this a 86 2 door and a 99 4 door. well i was browsing around in tha local classifieds here in swva and found a sweet deal. 90 model 2 door 4.0 5 speed for 800 bucks. went and picked it up for 750. all it needed was a paint job and a rear main seal. so i brought it to tha house and started workin on it. i decided to take it for a spin and then out of no where comes an ol woman in a brand new 2500 silverado and plows into me and my ol lady. :brickwall: so after 4 months fighting with the insurance place i finally get it back. so im open to all suggestions and tips on fixing it back. im 20 years old and taking welding in college so thankfully i can weld half way decent but like i said all tips are helpful. i was also told when i bought it that it has ford front and rear axles but i have no clue. so ill get some pics up and maybe some can help me out on that. thanks for lookin and hopefully tellin me what ya think!:icon_lol:

Yeah, post pics of the differentials and we should be able to identify them. There is an image somewhere around the site with the different pictures of the most popular axles people put under their XJ's.

Make sure your unitbody is straight before you waste any time and money on it,I would just find a new one and use some of your settlement to find another one. You did get a settlement right begin it wasn't your fault right.
