Getting the transfer case off to install the SYE was harder than expected. 4 bolts were easy, 1 bolt required a 12" extension and the piece shown below, and the last bolt I had to take the console apart and pull up where the t-case handle comes through. That one took awhile. Doing it in the dark didn't help. Hopefully tomorrow I'll get the SYE done and possible rear axle in. Still looking for a driveshaft.

Started u-joint replacement but can't be that loud because of my apartment neighbors, so that will have to wait. Wanted to start SYE but I don't know if its in 4low as the linkage was messed up on the jeep when I took transfer case off. This is the current position of the selector bolt/ notch thing. Do you think if I clicked it forward and backwards a few times I could figure out where 2high, 4high, neutral, and 4low was by spinning the yokes? That's what I'm going to try tomorrow morning unless someone comes up with a better idea. And the linkage issue will be addressed but haven't decided how yet, a kit or copying someone else's cheaper fix I've seen before.

Haven't been able to get much done because of being so busy, but SYE is in except something is off with it, so I'm still fiddling with it. Seems to not want to stay in 4 high or 4 low, will "bounce" out almost but stays in neutral and 2hi just fine when I'm clicking through the modes while its off the jeep and on the ground. Maybe it's fine and when the linkage is hooked up it will hold it in place better? Still looking that issue up. Definitely upgrading the linkage also.
Found a driveshaft from a GC, 33", hope its long enough. Leaf springs are in and bolted up. Threw a tire on to satisfy my curiosity as to what it might look like. Slowly but surely.

need some longer bolts for the cross member because of the stiffener's, and my welder isn't strong enough for the thick clayton brackets so i'm going to have to bolt them in and then make an appt with my muffler guy to weld the brackets in for me. and need to get bolts for the rear BPE's i'm going to make out of the rear sway bar brackets. took a chunk out of my finger yesterday working on lining the trackbar bracket up, hard only because of the stiffeners, and realized i can't find one bolt so i'll need a new couple of those also.

Full suspension is in. To do list in no particular order:
Cut old control arm mounts off
Reinstall old rear brakes (looking for disc brake parts)
Drill rear yoke for ujoint straps
Get rear drive shaft extended
Install front shaft
Transfer case shift linkage
Cut u-bolts
Paint stiffeners
Fender trim and clean up
New rotors up front, reinstall brakes
Wheels and tires
Order and install new bump stops
JKS sway bar links
Self align then probably have shop align
definitely forgetting things
