poor mans Jeep!

I have a 99 Jeep cherokee I bought a year ago and finally got permission from the wife to lift it, she gave me a 800 dollar limit. I had a hard time figuring out what kit to buy and finally decided on a RC 3" lift and had money to spare so I ordered a new exhaust for it

I work for Oreilly auto parts and bought my exhaust from Amazon, its messed up when the parts I sell are 100 dollars cheaper than my good discount. Anyway I bought the dynomax system off Amazon and the front pipe and cat from work and saved a s*** ton of money on it. Its not the best but it sounds tons better than stock

It was incredibly easy to put the new system on when you have a sawzall. the upper bolts to the manifold scared me a bit but they came off with no hassle. I cannot say that for the u bolts tho. I will post some pics of the exhaust tomorrow when im installing the lift

Well I forgot to take pics was having a hard time babysitting my uncle who attempted to help me, the dumb ***** kept trying to take things apart that didnt need to. Took 6 hours to do but should have been shorter.

The front end was so fast had it done in an hour but had to make a couple of Oreilly runs. Warranty sway links( didnt have to but I did) and rent a strut spring compressor. The back was a whole different story, my air tools took a crap so I had to do all the back by hand, what a b**** it was so rusty. I had to cut my front leaf spring bolts they were rusted bad. Nobody had the new bolts so I had to use one a bot shorter but it will work til the new ones get in

Well after all that I finally got it all put back together and it looks great. I do have a vibration when I am accelerating fast and I also have a weird popping sound thag seems to be coming from the front passenger side(the side my uncle was working on) I checked all the bolts and one was a bit loose on the sway link but I fixed that. It happens when im stopping, turning and backing up slowly. Any ideas?

The vibration noise is from the driveshaft being in an incorrect angle because the vehicle is lifted, I would recommend either transfer case drop or a SYE

Next I want to get a new bumper for the front just trying to find the best deal. oh I almost forgot I ordered some pillar light brackets from detours I cannot wait for them to get here, they are awsome
