I call this build the pond bear because it gets me to my secret spots, 4 wheel required. i recently put these tube doors on, i havent seen another cherokee near me with these warrior product ones. Now my jeep is an absolute head turner (tested and approved by many when i went downtown with strait pipes!)
Tonight i started to poke underneath my dash and forgetting that i pulled my ecu out of a cherokee that didnt have a skim module plugged the skim back in and poof i cant start my jeep. The same problem i had when i bought it, looks like i got to buy a replacement ecu from a jeep that doesnt have it. it sucks but at least i know how to fix it

Been way too long since my last update, if i want to keep an accurate record of my work whats the point if i don't update it!

My buddy lent some shop space for me to park the heep over the winter(**** working outside in New England!).

Got to work installing a Currie Enterprise Crome Moly Heavy-Duty Tie Rod System

Next I set to work doing the header. More simple than I thought it was going to be but if i had one tip it would be to triple check your torque on EVERY bolt. I missed one on my first pass.

Is this the kiss of death for my head? she has been holding strong!

Any markings that have some value to them?

Fixed the stupid ****ing seat mount that tried to kill me every time i got into the thing!

while the jeep was down we got into some trouble getting to my spot.(i wasn't driving i swear) got a good pic of my buddy while we were there!

the DD does the job just fine!

Brought her home when the weather got better. It felt like cheating not driving her in the winter.

got some lower control arms. Pain in the ***, both upper bolts were cold welded to the bushings. the sawzall fixed that quick. $75 in hardware later the job was done.

Not jeep related but i finally got a trailer for the jon boat. No more loading it on top of the jeep for me!

Fender Flares. Get them. Lots of holes to drill and hardware to install but 100% worth it.

Some paint!

Done!

Tire rotation! 100% sphincter contraction on those jack stands though.

we never made it to the pond.

Hood pins seem to have a love/hate deal with people. I prefer hood pins for my jeeps as nothing is more annoying than a hood that won't shut - or open when desired to.

I agree, except when i loose a pin i feel like im more on the hate side. One thing on the to do list is make wires to keep em attached to the body.
