Our Blue 94 4 Door XJ

Hello everyone! My names david and im 19 year old who has a girlfriend who owns a jeep! sadly I drive a toyota camry which my grandma gave me for a graduation present. we have basicly made this jeep ours though i do most of the work on it and we split driving it on the trails. well basicly she bought for her first car a 97 mustang:dunno: well being a ford an all it started to break little things here and there so we traded it for a 94 cherokee with a 4.5 re lift and 31 in tires this jeep was not perfect but what jeep is. it leaked oil the gauges didnt work the lower control arms needed to be replaced it leaked power steering fluid um and im sure im missing alot of stuff oh ya and the frame rail was cracked by the steering box giving us a loud pop everytime we turned the steering wheel but for somereason she wanted it. oh ya he forgot to mention most of the things i listed when we traded so we found out on our own slowly

here she is the night we traded for it

Looks a lot better than it did!!!!! Props!! I think a black grill, black housing headlights would make it look a bit meaner

How much did you pay for that paint job, and what would you rate the quality of it out of 10? Love the color, btw.

836 for the paint job that was sand primer and some body work and i would give it a 9.5 outa 10 because of a little bit of overspray but if it chips at all we can bring it in for the next year

well my friend cant get his xj to smog so he is parting it out!!! And he let me have first take on anything i wanted..... so i ended up with a hitch the whole complete headliner with a sound bar and speakers and lights a headliner cb mount and the lift struts for the rear hatch and a back seat that is in perfect shape mine was bent in the middle all for 45:thumbup1;

and he gave my friend his red top optima for free all he had to do was give him his walmart battery

i will have pics up later

So i went camping this weekend and forgot to take any pictures :oops: well my friend in his toyota truck thought he could get up this obsticle by our campsite and couldnt so i had to try and get up it. i didnt want to disconnect the sway bar so is it bad to wheel with the sway bar on.? i couldnt get up the obstacle i need a locker... but i did get farther than the toyota did with 35s. but as i was spinnning the tires i finally caught some traction and hopped up a rock and heard a pop from what sounded like the driver side hub area so we backed off after that and drove home the 40 miles and everything felt fine but there was a new pop when turning to the left and braking. Today my gf took my little bro to school and said when she braked she felt a clicking noise what sounded like the driveline or something moving and i havent had a chance to look at it yet wondering if you guys had any input of what it could be????
