Operation "Militarize"

A little background on the project, I plan to join the Marine Corps after I graduate high school. I want my Cherokee to reflect that. I own a 1994 Jeep Cherokee Sport. I bought the jeep almost completely stock besides the head unit, a tow lift kit and a few other additions. The main thing that bothered me about the Jeep and still does, is the paint. The paint is flaking off all over and brings the Jeep down several points. I'm not looking to upgrade for offroading, I'm more looking into having a nice everyday Jeep with upgrades.

Work done so far:
Pealed off red strips on side
Head Unit Replaced
Kicker L7 10" Subwoofer
Painted: Roof Racks, side fenders, door handles, side mirrors, rims
Spun wheels so white wall is underneath the car

Work Planned:
PlastiDip entire car (camo green)
Wheel spacers (open on size)
New Headlights
Foglights
Leveling kit on front (to balance rear tow lift)
Tint back windows (maybe, depends on if you can do it yourself)
New Steering wheel
New Battery
Fender Flares

As of now, that is all I can think of, I am extremely open to suggestions. I know Militarizing jeeps is a common project and if you have seen any, feel free to share a picture or PM me an idea. I would actually really appreciate it while I put some of this together.

That's all for now, I will post some pictures of how the PlastiDip comes out, should be this weekend or the next. Thanks everyone!

I'll watch this... Nice job so far. Any idea on the MOS you are headed into?

Thank you and I am mainly aiming for 0311, or Riflemen.

I like how your green came out. Feel free to look through my build for some mods. Also look into a grenade shifter.

Looks good.. I plan on doing olive drab on mine or the commando green they put on the the new ones. Lots of hard work though to go scratching it up in the woods but so much fun :)

I love the matte green and black look on jeeps. I am considering an army star on the side to make it more militaristic

Looks good. You didn't have to tape up everything though. I love that about plastidip. Just wipe off the overspray lol

I was doing it with only 15 cans, I needed to be sure about it and couldn't go that route.

In total to do the whole paint job, probably 200. That includes 15 cans of paint, tape, plastic wrap for the walls, etc. Considering the estimate I got to get it done "professionally," I saved 1100 dollars. Therefore, worth it.
