One Dollar at a Time

So I have had my Jeep for a few months now and after looking at other peoples build threads in aw, I felt I should join in on the fun.

When I got my rig it was bone stock with some minor work needed to be done. Still needs work, very very far from where I want to be sitting. First off was the terrible looking rust right above the windshield. This is what my rig looked like the day I brought it home Attachment 80405.
And here is the rust I had also mentioned.

Here are some during pictures of the whole roof repair process.

And this is what it looked like in the end!

In the spring or maybe sometime this winter I am going to clean it up more because it has a few dry spots but for now it will work.

Other problems I had when I first got my ride home was the passanger window wouldn't work from the passanger controls so I did some research and bam got that problem resolved.
And a slow day at work allowed me to tinker with the Jeep a little bit and I found a nice crack on the floor under the passanger side which was leaking through to the inside. (Weeks before I finished the roof that is were I though the water was getting in) But nope I was wrong so that is one of the next things on my list of to-do's.

Just recently I purchased the Daystar budget boost and got it installed. This morning got up early and me and the old man put the Pucks and Shackles on. Looks a lot better then it did, got the front end up but with my saggy stock leaf springs the rear doesn't sit were I would like it to.

So my new plan is to buy 3" Rear leaf springs and Coils (to replace my stock junk) new shocks, adjustable track bar, and some sliders. And if all goes well soon Ill be runnin some new wheels and bump up from my 30" tires to some 31"

Update on what I put on (with help from my pop's).
-3.5" Procomp spring's in the rear.
-4.0" Tompken spring's (a buddy of mine ran them and hooked me up with them when he parted his out. RIP Old Blue)
-Teraflex quick disconnects.
-Skyjacker Hydro7000 shock's.
-4WH adjustable trackbar.

And my bumper. My Grandpa fabbed it up for me. It's made out of 3/16's steel and stout as all hell.

That's pretty much all that's new that I can think of right now.

I need a bumper so bad. I'm tired of the lift but a stock bumper. Looks funny on mine. Haha
