hello every one.Like the title says old man.Im 61 and bought a 94 xj about 6 months ago.engine had a knock and left side door some rust .got her for $650. drove her home ran fine.I meet a great guy on this board that is only 2 miles from my house and he gave me new springs for the front, a leaf pack for the back.beefer track bar and bracket ,control arms for the lift and thicker tie rod ( super nice guy ) alsoa newer center console with the cup holders.from there I bought the white faces for my gauges put in blue led lights. I found a good deal on rear disc drakes so I bought all new calipers and rotors for all 4 ,got new black pro comp d rims and some 31 tires for her.picked up a 2000 block and starting to order parts.new 30 over keith black pistons with hastings rings,melling hi volume oil pump,comp cams 4x4 cam and lifters new bearings flowkool water pump, flow daddy headers ,bombproof motor mounts ,newer 99 + intake manifold with a bored out throttle body 62 mm, and a Clifford 6=8 double row roller timing chain. So far need to get pics going and Ill post as I go alone.

melling oil pump came yesterday and billet double row timming gear set came today.so all parts are here goining to drop block and head off at figgas mach shop for a .30 overbore, and block decking also have the head re-built with ne

w springs and s.s valves.

just picked up a 136 amp brand new alt for 90.00 going to drop block of in the morning for a 30 over bore.will take pics of motor being put back together.

ok so I went to drop of motor to be bored and found out the owner of the shop passed away....what a loss to a great man tony Figga...he will be missed. anyway not many places around here took me weeks to find a place. after I dropped block off it took 2 weeks to get her back.Picked it up last nite..$600.00 ,bought some engine paint and put 2 coats of black on her.I will start to put her back together sat morning and post pics.

ok been working on her slow. Bought some adj upper and lower arms,put in 2 new 12inch fans on the rad. Engine is almost all back together.engine is looking good. Bought a short tailshaft seal and did a hack n tap..also got me some lebarron hood vents.
