This old jeep - Cherokee Country minor build
Decided to remake the last thread I had, but better!
Started off with a 93 Cherokee Country, ugly as all hell and death wobble that would make the manliest of men crap his pants.
Replaced the track bar, picked up a set of Grabber 2 ATs, and went to work on trimming and folding my fenders
Was pretty stoked on how the fronts came out!
And with the fenders all cut up, I was able to get the tires under the stock height with no rubbing whatsoever.
The next big task was the lift, went with a zone 3inch with full leaf packs, got a wicked price on it from a little 4x4 shop in Victoria, BC for a wicked deal. This lift turned out to be one of the biggest pains in the *** I've ever experience. almost every leaf spring bolt broke during it. After lots of cutting, I was able to get it all finished up with the help from a friend(and a lot of cans of PB blaster)
This is how she sits today:
Future plans as of right now, are adjustable LCAs, going to bedline the bottom all around the jeep, and then when I'm back on stable financial ground, hoping to pick up a set of 33 mud terrains.

Oh yea, got this all finished up over the last couple days.
New headunit:
And threw in my subs from my last vehicle:
2x 12" Hertz HX300s running off an Audison 1150 watt amplifier. They HAMMER. Surprisingly this jeep isn't so bad for rattles, only needs dynamat in a few places as far as I can tell so far.

i would recomend bolting the subs down in some fashion if you are going to go showing it off. these xjs are very easy to break into.

Don't worry, already ahead of you there!
On another note, a friend of mine might be picking up a parts 4runner, and says if I put in a few bucks I can take the 33s from it. Pumped.

So I knew I had rust on the passenger side floor pan, But I didn't know it was THIS bad. Tore the carpet up to find this:
Damn. Begin the cancer removal process.
Didn't take any pictures of the work I got finished today, but I cut out all the rust, used a bunch of rust inhibitor all over the place, picked up some 18g sheet metal, and started forming my new floorpan. I was going to go the ghetto route of pop rivets and seam sealer, but now I'm thinking I might try and get a hold of a welder and do it proper.

Huge improvement over the last post!
All I need to do now is finish drilling new holes for the seat bolts, and weld the unibody to the new floor from underneath.
Anyone have any opinions on heat/sound proofing? I've read of people using stuff like peel and seal, but apparently it can smell terrible when it gets hot and starts baking.

So haven't really updated much, trying to plan out a LCOG build for when I have money for gears and tires. I wanna do 35s with maybe another inch or so of lift at most.
But today we got a little bit crazy with spraycans and did something I've wanted to do for a while, stoked on it.
Needs some touch ups here and there(roof racks for instance) But I'm impressed with how it came out.
