Black is one of the nicest colors on an XJ. I like the cb mount.

I Hydro locked the engine and got a new put in it, it has about 500 miles on it now also did a tranny swap from the AX15 to a fully rebuilt AW4. After that I added some JCR sliders, TNT frame Stiffners, TeraFlex Revolvers and a Powertrax Lockright Locker in the D30.

I wouldnt recommend that mount for a person that wheels, I broke a couple of fire stiks catching it on trees, plus you have to push it out of the way every time you open and close the hatch.

After that I scored a good deal on some 35s right before we took off for a wheeling trip to Clayton OK. Well when we got there we noticed that the tires were way to close to the quarters. so I asked my buddy matt to trim it up a bit while I was setting up the camper and grills.

Well this is what I came back too.

no, I jacked them up how the directions say and then clamped them in place and used the the bolt holes as rosets and did then did the same with the pinch weld bolt holes and then fully welded around the main mounts. now the only way I was able to get away with fully welding everything is because I had those TNT stiffners already on.

Nah I wasnt pissed it saved the tires from getting sliced up, plus I plan on trimming it higher anyway.

Seems like one nice trail rig. Hope you dont mind but i have a few questions for you. What tires were on your XJ before you go the 35" tires? And what size lift and brand do you have? Your jeep is around the height where i want mine to sit.

BINGO!

I would recommend you go with Adjustable Lower control arms though, they will give you more flex and you wont have to buy a $40 bushing set every 10 wheelin trips........
