Pretty productive weekend for me. I have a lot I need to get done to the Jeep since I will be driving it 2000 miles back home to California in a week. Installed my CB radio and tuned it yesterday. Today I just finished installing my ARB headlight harness. It was a lot easier than I expected. Sorry for lack of pictures on the harness install my phone ran out of space. My fan shroud is coming in the mail today so tomorrow I will be installing that and my new fan
clutch.
Used thatXJguy's antenna bracket. It works great just plasti dipped it for the time being until I get home then I will paint it. Also had to bend it a bit with a hammer to make it fit around a hump. Overall very happy with the outcome.
Ran the coax cable under all of the interior side trim panels for a clean install. It was exactly the perfect length.
I have the 4' Firestik II. Its a bit tall but works fine.
Only picture I have from the ARB Install.

Cool! I have my CB mounted in the same spot as you but never though to mount the mic where you did. Seems like that would make it a lot easier to hang up when driving.

Thanks!
Yea its a nice spot for it I think. I bought some cheap sticky microphone mount from the truck stop by the adhesive back wasn't strong enough so I'm trying to figure out a better way to mount it.

It is nice being back in California with all the local trails around! Took a short trip to the Holy Jim trail this past weekend. It was good to finally test out the capabilities with my rig and see what needed to be improved. I found out that I really needed to get my fenders cut as well as that I will definitely need some lockers in the near future. Here are a couple pictures i took.
Yesterday a buddy and I cut my fenders. We cut and folded the rear quarters to take care of the rust issue. We had to cut quite a bit of rust off of the back. Overall, I think it turned out great! Still need to add paint to the rear quarters. I am thinking about putting bed liner on the rocker panels as well to help with some surface rust that is starting to form. Stupid midwest cars haha. Also I need to finish the bumper to make sure its even with the front fenders.

Nice job on the fender trimming! I used vinyl door trim on my front fenders to cover up the sharp edge and it actually works really well.

I was thinking about picking up some of that trim just haven't gotten around to it yet.
I will be painting the bumper once we cut down and re weld the sides. Im going to get it sand blasted also because the whole thing is covered in surface rust. I don't even want to mess with trying to sand all of it off haha.

Y'all did a nice job on the fender trimming and the rear cut n fold. I've been following your build for awhile now. Keep up the good work.

I finally finished the bumper. Ended up getting it powder coated because semi gloss hammer black. And I got the Hellas mounted and wired up.
I had some surface rust starting to form on the rocker panels and I didn't want to have it go another winter like that so my buddy and I sanded down the rust and repainted the rockers and rear quarter panels. Turned out pretty good for $50 of spray paint and supplies.
Also today I finally got around to installing my 4" front coils from IRO to help level it out. It sits perfect now in my opinion. Also changed my valve cover gasket, throttle body gasket, and put in my IRO steering box spacer, the old one crumbles like a cookie when it came out.

Thanks! I see your from MN. My jeep was originally from moorhead. I think it was definitely worth the money i spent especially since these cars from the midwest don't have the nicest winters to deal with lol.
