Back passenger floor boards were in pretty good shape surprisingly just some surface rust. My sand blaster made quick work of that. Anyone got a good way of removing that rubber crap? I got a lot of it with torch and putty knife but haven't found a good way to remove the rest of it.

Here's how it sits now. Got rear doors, floor pans cut out, one rocker cut out and the other mostly cut. Gotta decide what I wanna do about the inner rocker. Pretty ate up. Might just cut it all out and push the 2x6 back and tie floor into them. Got the transmission output housing today still gotta clock it.

Got tcase clocked today and rockers nearly ready to burn in. Gonna pick up some 2x2x3/16 or 1/4 wall for supports to stiffeners. I may skin it depending on time and money.

So since my jeep had been wheeled for 5+years before the stiffeners I had some fitment issues obviously. On the bottom inside near crossmember bolts there was a huge gap so without really thinking I bent them up as much as I could. Ya well now my crossmember plates arent sitting level... I guess I'll prolly end up bending them back level next to bolt holes.
This is kinda what I'm planning on for a tranny mount just need more clearance so the bushings will be our and up more. So Im looking for the smallest diameter bushed dom sleeves and poly performance is the only place I can find that has anything under 2". Problem is they run smaller bolts. Drivers side don't really matter but passenger I need as much room as possible to fit exhaust upper arm and a bushing in there. Welcome to suggestions!
