Just got a 92 xj all stock. Im new to all this xj stuff but was wanting to get a look like the xj pictured. Just wondering what size lift kit.. 2.5'', 3'' ? wheel sizes, tire sizes etc. not going to be doing much off roading just some mudding with friends but want it to look good!

looks like a 3in with 33 mud terrains. looks to be a rubicon lift cause of the black and silver shocks

I would think its a 3" with 31s. The lift could be anything.. You can buy different color shock boots. My coils are silver and i have RC.

It looks like 3 inch but idk about 33's, that rear tire doesn't fill the wheel well like a 33 would, plus none of the fenders are trimmed just removed. They look like 31's the front fender was removed probably because it rubbed a bit.

looks like 31s that may also be a short arm lift...

krash83 10-26-2010 08:29 PM

best guess i'd say rubicon
silver coils and lca's obviously short arms
15/7 cragar d-window with 31 10.5 meats
back sits higher so it was prob a full leaf pack lift also
also prob 3.5 lift

for a good 3" lift look into the rough country series II 3" with full leaf packs

http://www.roughcountry.com/jeep_xj_3x.html

but if you dont wanna go quite as high and less expensive pick up a budget boost from Iron Rock Offroad, get 2" coil spacers and the 2.5" AAL, got mine for $110 shipped

http://www.ironrockoffroad.com/Merch...egory_Code=PFX

then get some 31" mud terrains, any bigger and you will want to regear your axles

also look into some Aussie lockers for front and rear, they help a ton and are pretty cheap

Actually those shocks look like Bilstiens due to the very shiny housing. Rubicon is more gray. But I agree with 3"-4" lift on 31s
