Default New Weekend Project

Well finally my brotehr got sick of em talking crap about my XJ so he went and traded for a 82 CJ7, Specs:
82 CJ7 4.2l
Dana 44 Front/AMC Rear (Both Equipped w/ Air Lockers)
15X12 Wheels w/ 38" Ground Hawgs
Dnt know exactly how much lift haven't really checked to see what a stock CJ sits at

I'll know about it this weekend. I only got to check it out while he was working out teh trade. It's my twin brother who traded for it, this weekend were goin on a B-Day Wheelin party, so we'll see what its made of

Nice looker.

I'd say looks to be about 6.5 to 7" of lift. (spring over 5.5" lift shackles and the leafs are not quite flat so there prob 2.5" lift) It also looks like it was converted to the YJ 2.5" wide leafs..

Very nice..

Don't waste a clean CJ by putting a different body on it.

Trade it or sell it....

Agreed, but my brother was after a XJ, a long time family friend offered him the CJ for his 89 4cyl Mustang (Yea just a little LX Stang), and he jumped all over it (who wouldnt have) I told him he'd come out better gettin the CJ then tradin for a XJ.

idk aint got to highway drive yet. He just got a set of BFG 33" KM2's for everyday driving. It has a Clifford Header, Intake, few other performance odds and ends. Even with the 38's it'll still lite em up on the hardtop. We went and cleaned it up over the weekend my buddy's goin through a divorce (only reason my brother got it, his old lady got there TJ and he very well couldn't drive the CJ everyday to work), were goin this weekend after he gets the tags switched to bring it home. It's our B-Day this weeknd so we hope to go on a Wheelin Party, if we can find any decent trails in our area (SWVA)
