new to offroading
 

I'm generally new to offroading but think its a lot of fun. I bought a 90 Cherokee xj a while back but I want to build it up. Any tips, hints, or suggestions would be nice. I'm looking into a 4.5 inch suspension lift to put on 32x11.5 tires. Other than that I don't really know what else to do. Any advise is helpful.

Armor Armor Armor, I cannot stress that enough. Protect that tranny pan, t-case and probably the best mod I've done to my XJ are the uni-body stiffeners. That was the best 120 bucks I've spent.

I will have to do that. What brand do u suggest and do u have a link? I appreciate the help! I've been building high compression drag cars for a while but this off road 4x4 stuff ill admit I'm a newbie to. Thank you!
