just made a vid but its so dark and its snowing out and it turned out like crap. i'll have someone ride with me and film tomorrow with a better camera, definitely some wasetgate dump!

bad news...hooked up safc and everything works, except it has no rpm reading, it just says 0, ive tried everything! different wires such as cps wire too. took the voltmeter to it and its getting signal, maybe a bad unit?

yea ive read EVERY post on em, its wired correctly. i called apexi, and did the tests they told me, and it is indeed defective! so im sending it back tomorrow and ordering a different one once he refunds me!

Yup they sell everything cheap unless its a big ticket item! Thats where I got my HKS BOV for 100, thats where I got my tial racegate at lol. Sure its used stuff but 90% of those guys use their cars on weekends..so not much mileage on the stuff and abuot 99% of them keep their cars in the best shape as possible. So anything you buy is usually in perfect condition!

update!
finally got my piggyback to read rpms. turns out the safc 2 i had wasnt broken...oh well i got an hks safr for $50 so i saved some money. gonna play with the settings and install my egt gauge in the next few days. been promising you guys a vid, but dont want to make one till i get this thing perfect!
