New to me
Well, I fell in love with jeeps when I bought an 88 YJ for 1500 bucks. I don't have a picture of it, but it was automatic, had the 4.2, 3" body lift, shackles, 33" Wrangler MtRs, and some PCW Panther aluminum wheels. It got horrible gas mileage, so I sold it and traded in my Mitsubishi Mirage for a 98 Cherokee sport. It was the cheapest car on the lot, and it had the ax15 transmission. I don't have any pictures of it stock, but this is a pic of it before I sold it.
I sold that Jeep for 2500 and bought the 85 oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale Brougham as seen in the second picture. The Delta drove like a dream, and was getting 19-20 mpg. However, it wasn't a jeep.
I sold it for what I paid for it and bought a 93 cherokee country for $500. Bought it stock, since then have replaced clutch master cylinder, slave cylinder, front brakes, shocks, tires, wheels twice, put on a throttle body spacer, cone filter, shift ****, steering wheel, and a compass.
I'm in the middle of painting it Bahama sea blue with a bedlined white roof and black trim.
I'm restarting this thread so I can show my build from the beginning, and update as I finish painting.
I have also bought a 2" add a leaf lift from Rustys and will be installing it the weekend after I finish painting.
I'll then do exhaust and fix the headliner and hopefully that'll do it.

Here is a pic of your old 98 xj
How is the 93 coming? I understand what you mean about taking pictures of the progress. When I did mine I would usually take pictures at the end of each day or at the end of a major step.
